A website that looks like you meant it.

Most people decide whether a business is any good before they read a word. A site that looks like it was thrown together says something about the work, whether or not that is fair. So the first thing I build is a design made for your business — your words, your pictures, laid out so the thing a customer came for is the thing they find.

Then it has to be quick, because a design nobody waits for is a design nobody sees.

A signwriter in a blue boilersuit, brush raised, painting bold hand-lettering and a rainbow onto a shop window from the pavement outside.

What a rebuild looks like.

Two practices in Hanover. Drag either one: the site they had is on the left, the site they have now is on the right.

The same subject on the rebuilt site: one dark page headed “Say goodbye to glasses.”, with the phone number and a Q&A link in reach.
The old May Eye Care Center site: a cataract surgery page of small blue text in a narrow column, beside a five-field appointment form.

May Eye Care Center. Before: the cataract surgery page as archived by the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, April 2026. After: the same practice today.
The rebuilt Cherry Tree Surgical site: an eye photographed against a starfield, headed “Because there’s so much left to see.”, with the phone number and directions.
The old Cherry Tree Surgical site: a headline and a Directions button on a bare white page, with the images failing to load.

Cherry Tree Surgical. Before: as archived by the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, August 2024. After: the site today.

Sites I’ve built

  • May Eye Care Center

    mayeyecare.com · Hanover, PA

A cataract and LASIK practice. Large type, a phone number that is never more than one tap away, and a page that finishes loading before the patient gives up on it.

  • Cherry Tree Surgical

    cherrytreesurgical.com · Hanover, PA

A surgery center. Most people who arrive here want the phone number and directions, so those are the first two things on the page.

  • This one

    the page you are reading

Built the same way as the two above. It is also the one you are reading, so you have already seen how quickly it arrived — there is a measurement of exactly that further down. Tell me what you need

What you get

  • A design made for your business, not a template with your logo dropped into it
  • Built to be found — proper structure, schema, and local signals from day one
  • Quick on a phone — comfortably inside Google’s “good” mark for loading speed
  • You own your domain. Always, whatever happens between us.
  • Hosting that costs you nothing to run

How it works

We talk for twenty minutes. I look at what you have now and tell you what’s actually wrong with it. If it makes sense to work together, you get a fixed price and a date, not an hourly estimate that grows.

Four seconds is longer than it sounds.

A slow website costs you the customer you already won. Someone searches, taps your result, waits four seconds, and goes back to the list — and you never know it happened. Every site I build is measured on how fast it appears on a phone with an average connection, because that is the only version most people will ever see.

This page, on your connection
A site that takes four seconds

The top number is real: it is this page, measured on your connection, on this visit. The four seconds underneath is the benchmark from the paragraph above, running in real time — watching it is the whole point.

If you would rather see where your own site stands first, the free site check measures it the way this page describes and tells you what it found. It takes about twenty seconds and it does not ask for your email.
