I’m Connor May, and I’m studying finance and artificial intelligence for business at Emory.
Studying it closely has mostly taught me what it is not for. Almost everything sold to small businesses under that heading is bigger, vaguer and more expensive than anything they asked for, and a good deal of it does not work.
The version that does work is much smaller. A website somebody can read on a phone. Showing up when a person nearby searches for what you do. One tool that hands back the afternoon you lose to the same task every week. Those are the jobs worth doing, so those are the jobs I take.
What working with me looks like
You get me on the phone, not an account manager. Projects are fixed price with a date attached. If something isn’t worth doing, I’ll tell you before you pay for it.
